Hendrick’s Gin

This gin has a fierce following, in part because of its quirky brand personality (see the Monty Python-esque website) and aggressive marketing among bartenders. But it lives up to the hype. Some might expect a more concentrated rosewater-cucumber profile, but it’s relatively subtle, with just a hint of cucumber mingling with juniper in the aroma, and white pepper, citrus and floral notes on the lingering finish.

Small batch. Handcrafted. Est. 1886. This handcrafted gin is distilled from a proprietary recipe which includes traditional botanicals such as juniper, coriander and citrus peel. The unexpected infusion of cucumber and rose petals results in a most iconoclastic gin. It is not for everyone. 44% Alc. by vol. 88 Proof. Distilled and bottled in Scotland.

Hendrick’s Neptunia Gin

Hendrick’s Neptunia is a limited release gin that captures the magic of the sea that is infused with an exquisite blend of coastal botanicals and a smooth citrus finish. Master Distiller Ms. Lesley Gracie’s creation is as refreshing as her muse, the mighty waves that lash the Ayrshire coast. It is sublime with tonic and slice of cucumber or perhaps in a Neptunia Fizz garnished with thinly sliced rounds of cucumber.
